    This event honors student accomplishments for those students who were in grades 9-11 for the 2024-2025 school year. Parents will be notified one week in advance of the event if their child(ren) will receive an award.   Everyone is welcome to attend.

  • The Terry Fox Run is in recognition of any students, staff, and those in our community who have been affected by cancer. [ ... ]

    The Terry Fox Run is in recognition of any students, staff, and those in our community who have been affected by cancer.  Terry Fox was diagnosed with osteogenic sarcoma (bone cancer), and has impacted the life of one of our own SCS students who has been diagnosed with osteosarcoma, the same cancer as Terry Fox.

    To show our love and care, we would like to participate in the Terry Fox Run as a school community to support our own student and his family through raising funds to contribute to the ongoing fight for a cure against cancer.

    • Grades 7-12 will run from 1:15- 2:15
    • Grades K-6 will run from 2:15-3:15
       

    SCS is not collecting any money at the school, so do not send cash/cheques with students.

    The Board of Trustees, (the "Board"), is responsible for the administration of the affairs of Saskatoon Society for Christian Education, Inc. (the "Society"), which operates Saskatoon Christian School. The Board is comprised of up to nine trustees.

    Please join us at the SSCE Annual General Meeting.

    The Board is seeking to fill up to THREE positions at the Annual General Meeting, which will be held on October 23 at 7:00 pm in the Multipurpose Room.  An election will be held. NOMINATIONS WILL BE CLOSED AT THE END OF DAY ON SEPTEMBER 30.

    SCS staff meet individually with the high school students in their Student Advisory Session numerous times during the school year. The goal is to ensure that all high school students have an adult to connect with regarding school academics, relationships, school procedures, etc.

    Each time these sessions are held, there will be a list of meeting times outside the classrooms the day before. Chapel will be cancelled for grades 9-12 on Thursday and class periods will be altered on Thursday and Friday to accommodate this event (see schedule below).

    Once your child has completed Periods 1-5 and their Student Advisory Session, they are free to leave for the day.   

    Alternate class schedule for OCTOBER 9 & 10 ONLY:

    Period 1:     8:45 am - 9:30 am
    Period 2:    9:30 am - 10:15 am
    Period 3:    10:15 am - 11:00 am
    Break:         11:00 am - 11:15 am
    Period 4:    11:15 am - 12:00 pm
    Period 5:    12:00 pm - 12:45 pm

    This optional fundraising program is an online ordering service where students may order lunch and have it delivered to the school.  The service will be available frequently throughout the year with varying restaurant options. And the best part is, proceeds from these lunches support our school!  This fundraiser is open to SCS students and staff only.
